1. Who we are

IkonPro® Point-of-Sale is software made by CommPay Software® LLC ("CommPay," "we," "us" or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website, contact us, start a trial or use IkonPro®, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. Information we collect

We collect information in three ways:

• Information you give us. When you fill out our contact form, start a trial or open an account, we collect details such as your name, email address, phone number, business name, billing details and anything you write in a message.
• Business data you enter into IkonPro®. As you use the software, you and your staff enter information such as inventory, assets, consignment records, gift certificates, sales transactions and customer accounts. This data belongs to you.
• Information collected automatically. When you visit our website or use the software, we may collect technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and the date and time of your visit, using cookies and similar technologies.

3. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate and maintain IkonPro®, including your trial and account
• Respond to your questions and support requests
• Process payments and send billing notices
• Send service announcements, such as software updates or changes to this policy
• Improve our website and software, and keep them secure
• Comply with legal obligations

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these situations:

• Service providers who help us run our business, such as hosting, payment processing and email delivery. They may use your information only to perform services for us.
• Integrations you choose to connect. If you connect Shopify or another e-commerce platform, information is exchanged with that platform as needed to sync sales and inventory. Their use of your information is governed by their own privacy policies.
• Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property or safety of CommPay, our customers or others.
• Business transfers. If CommPay is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

5. Your customers' information

When you record your own customers in IkonPro®, such as in customer accounts or sales, we store and process that information on your behalf so the software can work. You are responsible for collecting it lawfully and for telling your customers how you use it. We do not use your customers' information for our own marketing.

6. Cookies

Our website may use cookies to remember your preferences and understand how visitors use the site. You can set your browser to refuse cookies, but some parts of the site may not work properly without them.

7. Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, and afterward as needed to meet legal, accounting or reporting requirements. When you end your use of IkonPro®, you may ask us to export or delete your business data.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. You may also opt out of non-essential emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in those emails. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law.

10. Children's privacy

IkonPro® is a business product and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and update the "Last updated" date above.
